Nicole Shan Noodles

I didn't have the chance to visit Myanmar before but fortunate enough to have a Burmese cousin sister in law, Nicole who are kind enough to cook the famous Shan noodles for us. Though this is not the first time i ate but still can't resist this tasty rice noodle soup.

Rice noodle dish traditional to the Shan people of Myanmar. This noodle dish is very tasty and you can add more chiles if you like. The rice noodle is very thin. She told me that they normally eat at a low table sitting on the floor as it is called in Thailand Khon Toke style.

The ingredients she used were flat rice noodle, dried soy bean paste (which her mum did it for her in Burma) & chicken or beef bone as stock, chicken/beef, tomatoes, onion, cellery, peanuts and sesame.
We enjoy our Shan noodle together with the Burmese style of bean cracker. Thanks Nicole for the yummy dinner.

since this is not the first time, i already knew how to serve myself.
